Barnbuskers loves a nice romance and there can be no better love story than one that lasts 50 years. Celebrating their years together at St Nicholas’ Church Uphill Weston-Super-Mare, the happy couple had met when they started secondary school together at the age of 11. Friendship led to romance and eventually a marriage that has lasted 50 years. Last night, Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band felt privileged to join in the celebrations and provide the ceilidh dance music and caller for their special celebration evening.
And what an evening of country dancing it was! Despite the UK heat wave, the dancing, led by caller Simon, was immensely spirited with a wonderful feeling of community and fellowship.
