Here are a few examples so you can hear how we sound. We usually have fiddle, clarinet and guitar but sometimes we an accordion or even add if we’re lucky the double-bass!
Fiery Clockface Set
Ceilidh at East Quay, Watchet
This was a lovely event that took place on May 4th 2026. It was a nice sunny day (but before it got crazily hot) and lots of people joined in the dancing.
Coming Round the Mountain
This is always a favourite at Birthday Parties and if Bridget is calling, we can guarantee we’ll play it!
Barndance at Old Cleeve
This was a free barn dance we put on at the Lysacht Club at Old Cleeve. We did it so that Judy could practise her calling. This was her very first go at it, and after that there was no stopping her!
Outdoor event in Somerset at Vivary Park, Taunton
The clarinetist strutting his stuff on the band stand at Vivary Park.
A Wedding in North Devon at Country Ways
This was a hot, hot day in 2025 – back when we only had 1 heat wave per year. The wedding guests did very well to do any dancing at all in such sweltering conditions!
Birthday Barndance in Watchet
This was a birthday barndance at the Watchet Bowling Club and was one of our first ones.
Barn Dance in Mid-Devon
This was a really lovely party and unusally we managed to get a really great video of the dancing. It was at Calverleigh Village Hall, near Tiverton, and the second time we have been there. The people in it kindly allowed us to use the video (we always ask first).
Another day, another Circassian Circle!
We nearly always do Circassian Circle to finish as it’s such a great dance. This one was also at Calverleigh village Hall, but a different party.
Birthday party barn dance in Devon
Ryan played the mandolin for this one as we already had a fiddle.
