Great news! Bandleader Judy of Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band is in discussions to put on an open air Ceilidh in the Park at Blenheim Gardens, Minehead, West Somerset next year. This follows Barnbuskers successful Ceilidh in the Park at Vivary Park, Taunton earlier this Summer 2025 (video below) proving it can be done and it’s loads of fun!
Barnbuskers Band leader Judy said:
‘Blenheim Gardens are kept really beautiful by Minehead Town Council with lots of flowers and trees available for shade if the day is hot. I can’t think of a nicer place for us to put on an outdoor Ceilidh in the Park. We are essentially a local West Somerset based band. Although we play for lots of private birthday parties, anniversaries and weddings throughout Devon and Somerset, our band is mainly made up of local musicians and we are passionate about our Somerset and Exmoor heritage. So it’s always really wonderful to get a chance to put on a free open air ceilidh dance locally in Minehead.’
