Barnbuskers have just returned from a lovely evening providing the music and caller for a Christmas 2025 ceilidh barn dance at Clovelly Parish & Memorial Hall and Social Club. There was a nice mix of age groups and lots of enthusiastic dancing led by Barnbuskers Band leader and caller Judy.
When Barnbuskers visits a nice hall, we like to spread the news around and if you are looking for a good place to hold a special birthday, anniversary or wedding ceilidh or barn dance, Clovelly Social Club Hall is well worth considering with it’s very useful car park, bar and kitchens.
Obviously, you need to check the hall facilities out yourself to see if it meets your needs but if you are local to Higher Clovelly, Hartland, Westward Ho!, Appledore, Bideford, Bude, Holsworthy, Torrington, Kilkhampton, Bradworthy or elsewhere in North Devon, UK, it might be just what you need.
In particular, Barnbuskers loved the stage in the hall where the ceilidh barn dance was held. It coped with our four musician line-up easily with lots of room to spare.
The stage is easily accessed from the car park too which meant loading our band equipment and instruments was straightforward.
Access to the bar was through the doors at the end and turn left.
