Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band are just back from a lovely evening of playing music for ceilidh dancing to celebrate a 60th year birthday party in North Newton Village Hall. We really had a great time with lots of lovely people who, expertly organised by dance caller Bridget, absolutely danced their socks off. There was tasty food and drinks in the interval too.
Handy for all three centres of populations, North Newton Village Hall is situated near North Petherton and almost equidistant between Bridgwater and Taunton. It has a useful car park and a second room besides the hall, great for overflow chatting and mingling.

From time to time, Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band adds to the small list of musicians our band leader and organiser Judy can call on to play with us and it was a pleasure to have guitar playing Sarah debuting with us last night. Sarah did a great job providing strong chords and a steady timing that was perfect for the dancers. Sarah lives quite locally to us in West Somerset and we very much look forward to her joining us again to play at future ceilidh barn dances.
