What a great time Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band had last Wednesday 18th June 2025 at Minehead Barbarians Rugby Club. The Rugby Club hall was great for our Country Dance music and there was lots of room for our dance caller Steve to organise the dances. If you are local to West Somerset or Exmoor and are looking for a venue to hold a ceilidh or barn dance to celebrate your wedding, anniversary, special birthday party or for any other reason, it comes highly recommended by Barnbuskers.
We particularly liked the acoustics. Halls can be very prone to echoes and the Minehead Rugby Club had clearly thought of this when they put up drapes at ceiling level which enabled Barnbuskers to create the perfect ambiance for our cheerful, bouncy and energetic music. Parking was easy and the floor seemed nice to dance on too.
The people attending the ceilidh were particularly lovely with lots of dancing, laughter and, afterwards, extremely kind with their comments about how much they enjoyed the evening.
So, if you are looking for a somewhere to hold your wedding, anniversary, special birthday party or simply for a venue to hold a ceilidh, Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band highly recommends Minehead Barbarians Rugby Club hall.
