One of the great things about Barnbuskers Ceilidh and Barn Dance Band bookings in North Devon is that it gives us an opportunity to drive across the beautiful Exmoor countryside from our base in West Somerset. Our route usually takes us through Dunster, up to Wheddon Cross, across to Exford, Simonsbath and then over one of the highest points of Exmoor with its wonderful views extending all the way to South Molton in North Devon.
So, it was a double pleasure last weekend (7th June) when we provided the music and caller at Country Ways wedding venue for a ceilidh barn dance for local company Perrigo’s social club in Braunton. Not only did we have the pleasure of travelling across wonderful countryside but also we love our visits to Country Ways with its spectacular Devon views from the Highland Barn (see top photo) and the warm welcome we always receive from this family run business. It was a great evening out with lots of fun for Barnbuskers, our caller and the dancers.
