June marks the beginning of Summer. The flowers are all out, the trees are green and the sun (mostly) just keeps on shining. It’s a time of traditional open air fetes and festivals and there is no better way of celebrating our local communities than with open air public ceilidhs or barn dances which is a favourite activity of Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band!
Indeed, later this month, Barnbuskers is hosting a ceilidh barn dance at the Bridgwater Cultural Festival 2025 (like the one we held above at Vivary Park, Taunton). Read all about it in our Bridgwater Cultural Festival 2025 Open Air Ceilidh Barn Dance blog. Come along and join in! The Bridgwater festival’s theme is “Community as a Superpower!” We like that because our music is all about bringing communities together to have fun. According to the organisers, ‘It will be a day filled with world music, dance, food and community spirit.’ It’s funded by Bridgwater Town Deal and The National Lottery Community Fund so it’s free and open to the pubic.
But how can you keep informed about more of these wonderful traditional Bridgwater Somerset events?
Well one way is by following Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band! We love doing open air public ceilidhs and barn dances with their very special ambiance and we have lots of ways of helping you keep in touch with what’s going on in our ceilidh and barn dance world for indoor events too.
So, if you want to keep up to date with what’s on with Bridgwater ceilidhs and barn dances open to Somerset public featuring Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band, why not visit our Barnbuskers page on how to keep in touch which gives you lots of alternatives to follow us on social media and how otherwise to keep informed about ceilidhs and barn dances.
