Summertime is festival time and we at Barnbuskers got to talking about our favourite folk festival for country dancing. Our outstanding choice was Sidmouth Folk Festival behind the Anchor Inn where there is open air daily dancing in the car park to a series of amazing bands with top line dance callers. There is lots to drink and eat and it’s always packed so, if you don’t take a partner, there are lots of opportunities to find one. Sidmouth Folk Festival is on from the 1st August to the 8th August 2025. Perhaps we’ll see you there!
