Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band is all about bringing communities together for special occasions, such as special birthday parties, weddings and anniversaries, so we are thrilled to be appearing at the Bridgwater Cultural Festival on 21st June 2025 at Cranleigh Gardens, Bridgwater, Somerset UK with its theme of Community as a Superpower fostering the idea that people can achieve more together as a community than apart.
It will be a special day filled with world music, dance, food, community spirit and fun. Barnbuskers are looking forward to joining in around 1pm with our special brand of English Country dance music that has been getting communities feet tapping for hundreds of years.
Our superpowered caller will also be with us making it really easy for your tapping feet to turn quickly into some skipping and dancing to Barnbuskers lively tunes. Everyone is welcome and our English country dance caller will explain the dances through before and during each dance so no previous experience is needed. English country ceilidh barn dances are ideal for all the family and everyone can join in. Barnbuskers host lots of dances throughout Somerset and Devon and we see people happily dancing with babes in arms right the way up to grannies and grandpas. If you can walk, step, skip or gallop, you’re in and enjoying all the excitement. Bring along your partner or even your whole family or come along by yourself. Our dance caller will ensure you are included in the dances and have a great time.
If dancing isn’t your thing then come along anyway and enjoy the music and the ambiance. Country dance music has been thrilling people of all ages for hundreds of years and is the perfect complement to the perfect English Summer day in the park.

This Bridgwater Cultural Festival Saturday event starts at 11 o’clock in the morning and runs until 5pm. Barnbuskers Ceilidh Barn Dance Band and caller are on at about 1pm.
