If you are looking for the instructions for the metronome in the FR3 user guide, you will find that the vital pieces of information eg switching it on and off and changing the speed are in different places in the book, and not particularly easy to find. So for my own benefit, and anyone else who is looking for instructions, here they are all in the same place.
Switching the metronome on and off
Hold down the Organ button (the grey one at the bottom) and press the register key 4 at the same time (labelled D Folk). Pressing this combination of keys toggles the metronome on and off.
Changing the tempo of the metronome
- Press and hold the SET key.
- Press register key 4 until you see MtP on the display (Metronome temPo).
- Press register key 1 to decrease tempo.
OR
Press register key 2 to increase tempo.
Saving the tempo of the metronome
If you want your accordion to remember the speed you have set for next time you switch it on, you can save this new speed so you won’t have to change it every time you start practising.
- Press and hold the SET key until you see URT on the display.
- Press 2. YES appears on the display.
- Press 7. YES changes to Y.E.S and then changes to Done.
